Where do the flowers come from?
We are committed to sustainable methods that support environmental best practices. While the seasonal nature of Ontario’s climate doesn’t offer year-round exterior growing, we endeavour to support local first in all of our sourcing, working closely with the local Ontario Flower Growers Association as well as qualified producers around the world to source gorgeous flowers for your arrangement.
How long do fresh cut flowers last?
Fresh blooms can maintain their peak beauty for an average of approximately five days but may continue to look beautiful for many days longer. Proper flower care, regular trimming, fresh water, and location in the home will all impact the arrangement’s longevity. See our Flower Care section for best practices.
How will my flowers be packaged?
We are proud to offer sustainable and compostable packaging, as we recognize that preserving the environment directly impacts the future of the planet and its flowers. We have sourced unique options that showcase your floral selections with understated elegance while protecting arrangements in transit.
Can I have something made on the spot by a florist?
Currently, availability for on-site custom orders is limited by florist availability. For custom arrangements, the best option is to contact us ahead of time. If you’re spontaneously stopping by, we always have grab-and-go arrangements– stunning options that are ready for you to take home on the spot!
Do you take custom orders?
We do! Please reach out to us directly to talk about what you would like.
I saw a product available yesterday, but now it's gone. What’s happening?
The living nature of flowers means our inventory is always changing, with fresh selections and diverse options daily. Hot tip: if you see it and want it… get it!
Do you have pre-made bouquets and arrangements available in store?
Yes, we do. Our designers create stunning compositions that are grab-and-go ready.
Do you do flowers for events?
We are affiliated with Jackie O Events and refer our event requests to them. Please contact us for more information.
Do you do flowers for funerals?
At the moment, we do not do flowers for funerals.
Are you affiliated with FTD or other floral send-out services?
No we are not. All of our designs and services are uniquely Gorgeous & Beautiful, customized for our clients.
ORDERING
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Interac, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Can I trust Gorgeous and Beautiful with order and privacy?
We use Shopify for our orders and payments are processed through their highly secure site. Our customer database is built by information gathered from our sales process and marketing and promotions. We do not sell your data to third parties.
You have the option to opt-in to our newsletter and marketing materials, as there are things you might want to know– we’d love to keep you in the loop. However, we respect you as a client and will never bombard you with emails– we don’t like it either!
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, we charge and remit sales tax.
Why do you charge tax if I do not live in Canada?
Our operations are in Canada and are legally required to charge and remit tax on all sales.
